MAP
My own somatic method, called Movimento Autógeno Pessoal (Personal Autogenous Movement), or MAP, is an individualized approach that supports the process of embodiment, based on the combination of free movement and your unique biology. I guide my clients to move and breathe in specific ways, creating a safe space to break through old patterns of pain and avoidance.
You will become more aware of your system itself: movement, posture, and breath patterns, as well as learn how to deconstruct old counter-productive strategies related to them.
As it aims for a personal, authentic, and satisfying physical expression, perception, and energy flow, we will engage with and move from the sensory organs. Two main senses we will target and improve are:
⊙ Interoception, which is the ability to feel the internal state of the organism;
⊙ Proprioception, which is one's ability to perceive the body moving in space.
It feels like a remedy to the daily accumulation of stress, personally. To free and encourage my body, to have spaces where we come closer to our innate nature, where silence and slowness befriend our internal organs and musculoskeletal system, which are nowadays so accustomed to being overwhelmed. Fundamental resources we cultivate on this active self-exploratory journey include:
PRESENCE, SLOWNESS, CURIOSITY, LISTENING, MOVEMENT, PLAYFULNESS.

Physio & Manual Therapy
As a licensed Physiotherapist in Brazil and Germany, I can assess, build an individualized treatment and prescribe wholesome exercises towards a better function. If you have an injury, suffer from acute/chronic pain or simply want to prevent further impairments, I can support your process.
I hold a Bachelor in Physiotherapy, with an educational emphasis on Manual Therapy, Orthopedics and Traumatology. From public hospitals (Hospital das Clinicas Unicamp) to the backstage of private Theaters (i.e. Teatro Renault), and clinics in Sao Paulo and Berlin, I have summed hard and soft skills for treating patients with a variety of physical conditions and social-cultural backgrounds.
